The highlight of the meeting was the induction of the new District President, Heather Howard of Queensburgh, who will preside over the organisation for the next two years with her executive.

The induction service was led by the newly-appointed Bishop of the Natal Coastal District, Rev Linda Mandindi, who encouraged Heather to be strong and courageous.

To accommodate the delegates in comfort, the church hall was converted into the most beautiful worship venue, while the meetings took place in the airconditioned conference centre.

The delegates left feeling well-fed, both spiritually and physically. Gratitude is paid to the women of St Winifreds Women’s Auxiliary and the Upper South Coast churches for making everyone welcome and for being such gracious hostesses.
