Head-on R603 Adams Mission crash claims a life

VEMA Medics, along with Nectare 911 and Ethekwini fire and emergency services responded.

ONE person died and two were injured after a collision between two cars took place on the R603 at Adams Mission outside Adams College on Monday, 26 February.

Reports indicated that an SUV and a smaller vehicle collided head-on just after 11am.

VEMA Medics, along with Nectare 911 and Ethekwini fire and emergency services responded.

“One person had suffered severe traumatic injuries and was extricated by Ethekwini Fire and Emergency Services. Two other people sustained serious to moderate injuries,” said VEMA Paramedics.

The cause of the accident is not known but police, who were at the scene, will investigate.

Thanks are extended to all emergency officials who attended the collision and assisted. Condolences are expressed to the family and friends of the deceased.
