Scottburgh three-year-old missing for a month

A month down the line there are no leads, but parents Thabsile Dlamini and Mxolisi Ngwane remain hopeful.

YESTERDAY, 31 January marked a full month since the disappearance of three-year-old Siphesihle Dlamini from a church in Amandawe Esilengeni, just inland of Scottburgh.

Thirty days later there are still no leads, but parents Thabsile Dlamini and Mxolisi Ngwane remain hopeful.

To mark the one month of little Siphesihle’s disappearance, the community was urged to ‘go pink’ for the missing child in a hope to spread awareness. At the time Siphesihle went missing, 10.40am, the public was asked to observe a minute’s silence and say a prayer for her safe return.

Nicole Smuts, who runs the Help Find Missing Siphesihle Facebook page is asking for donations towards finding the lost child. As little as R10 will be gratefully received by the drive, which will channel the raised funds for investigator fees. Investigator Brad Nathanson, who proved instrumental in finding Siam Lee’s kidnapper, is working on this case.
