Armed men invade Isipingo home as gran watches grandchildren

It is alleged the men kept watch on the children who were playing outside.

Four armed men in a silver VW Polo stormed a house in Lotus Park on Sunday, 28 January.

Alpha Alarms reported that the men held up the family, a grandmother and her grandchildren at gunpoint and ransacked the house.

They grabbed various items including a flatscreen TV, cellphones and jewellery before fleeing in their getaway car. Alpha Alarms responded to the client’s premises and found the victims visibly shaken.

It is alleged the men kept watch on the children who were playing outside and when they went inside, the men reversed their vehicle into the yard. No-one was harmed during the robbery and no shots were fired.
