Burglar bagged in Isipingo Rail

It is believed he crawled under the automated gate and attempted to steal paint from the garage.

A burglar was pursued and netted by response officers after he was caught breaking into a garage on Samsunder Road in Isipingo Rail on Tuesday, 2 January.

Alpha Alarms communications officer, Krishnee Naidoo said members were dispatched to the premises after the alarm activated and the neighbour also called to inform them of a burglary in progress.

Members responded to the premises and the man was pursued and nabbed as he fled towards Umlazi. Isipingo SAPS was dispatched and took the criminal back to the premises where he was positively identified by the neighbour.

It is believed he crawled under the automated gate and attempted to steal paint from the garage before he was disturbed.
