Bakkie rolls, injures 21

All the injured were from the bakkie which lost control and overturned

Twenty one people were injured when a bakkie rolled in the southbound lane of the N2 at Adams Road just before noon this morning (Saturday, 4 November).
Rescue Care paramedics reported that traffic was heavily congested for almost an hour, while emergency services attended to the injured from about 11.50am onwards. Additional paramedic resourced had to be deployed to the scene to treat the injured.

It is understood all 21 people were from the bakkie which had rolled.
It is unclear what caused the bakkie to lose control and roll.
The injured were stabilised and taken to various Durban hospitals.
