Probus Club finalises Christmas lunch plans
An interesting speaker will be provided for the enjoyment of members.
WHILE the Probus Club gears up for its November meeting next week, the social club for retired professionals is also finalising arrangements for its Christmas lunch on Friday, 1 December.
The Probus Amanzimtoti Christmas lunch and party take place at Amanzimtoti Golf Club in Athlone Park from 11.30am to 3pm.
Members are reminded that the final date on which payments will be accepted for the Christmas lunch is at the next meeting on Friday, 10 November.
For its November meeting, Probus Amanzimtoti Social Club meets on Friday, 10 November at 9.30am for 10am in the safe, beautiful and tranquil Umbogavango Nature Reserve in Umbogintwini.
An interesting speaker will be provided for the enjoyment of members. For the bring-and-braai after the meeting members are requested to take their own cups, meat, salads and refreshments.
Probus Amanzimtoti is a social club for retired or semi-retired professional people over the age of 50 years. Membership by invitation is for singles and couples who stay in the greater Amanzimtoti area who enjoy meeting new people and socialising with their peers.
Interested visitors are asked to call Sharon-Ann Theron during working hours on 083-312-5360. Members are asked to check that their names appear on the gate security list to ensure their access to the reserve.
