Couple’s murder-suicide rocks Isipingo

The man shot the woman with a 9mm pistol and thereafter shot himself.

The bodies of a man and woman were found with gunshot wounds in Isipingo Rail on Thursday night, 12 October in what the police believe was a murder-suicide.

“Isipingo police were called to Ramdass Road at about 7.30pm, where the bodies of a 26-year-old woman and 29-year-old man were found,” said Isipingo SAPS communication officer, Captain David Ragavan.

“It is alleged that the deceased were in a relationship and there was a domestic dispute. The man shot the woman with a 9mm pistol and thereafter shot himself.

The firearm was recovered and a case of murder is being investigated by Isipingo SAPS.”
