Celebrate the life of renowned Warner Beach angler

The celebration will be held at Warner Beach Ski Boat Club this Friday at 10.30am.

THE death of well-known Warner Beach angler, John Munro has left many locals heart sore.
Family members invite the community to join in the celebration of John’s life.

John died at the age of 84 years on Tuesday, 15 August. Leaving behind two daughters, Sue Jones and Jeanine Fanucci, many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a few relatives, John’s legacy will live on.

Having lived in Warner Beach for the last 35 years and in Durban prior to that, the ocean played a huge role in John’s life.

“He’d been fishing since he could practically walk,” said daughter Sue Jones, a teacher at Warner Beach Preparatory. “He was extremely well-known among the anglers.”

The celebration will be held at Warner Beach Ski Boat Club this Friday at 10.30am.
