Throwback Thursday: Illovo Beach in the 60s
Take a trip down memory lane back to the 60s, when Illovo had few houses, a steam train and a vintage petrol station.
For this week’s Throwback Thursday, the South Coast Sun is sharing a gallery of photos of Illovo Beach back in and around 1967.
These are photos of an ex-resident’s family photo book. This was a time when there were possibly only five houses among the fields of trees, bush and sugar cane.
