Teen dies in Lovu house fire

A FIFTEEN-year-old boy was killed this morning, Friday, 7 April when a fire broke out in a home in the Illovu Section B settlement.

“Once the fire had been extinguished, paramedics found the body of a 15-year-old boy lying in his bed,” said ER24’s Russel Meiring.
“Unfortunately, the young boy had already succumbed to his serious wounds, and he was declared dead at the scene.”

It is not yet known how the fire started, but local authorities will be investigating further.
