Toti due for city signage inspection

The town is inundated with signage which contradict municipal legislation

WARD 97 councillor, Andre Beetge says the larger Amanzimtoti area is scheduled for an advertising and signage compliance inspection.

Business owners are alerted to familiarise themselves with the Ethekwini Municipality advertising and signage bylaws, which can be found on the city’s website, (click here to go to the site) and to ensure all signage conforms and is approved by the relevant department.

The town is inundated with hand written signs, boards, A frames, signs on trees and against fences, banners and sidewalk banners which not only contradict municipal legislation but causes the entire area to look untidy and dilapidated.
