Three-car crash at N2 sinkhole repair site

Paramedics found three damaged vehicles in the fast lane.

A woman believed to be in her 20s was injured after a three-vehicle collision on the N2 southbound before the Adams Road off-ramp on Tuesday morning, 4 October.

“Paramedics found three damaged vehicles in the fast lane,” said ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring.

One woman sustained moderate injuries, while two other drivers escaped injury.

Paramedics treated the patients and transported the woman to Kingsway Hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but roadworks in the area related to the sinkhole are thought to be a contributing factor.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
