THE former air force colonel and an ex-MK veteran who threw a hand grenade at a family member, Lesego Mahaose (33), which killed her, has been arrested.
“The suspect handed himself over to Amanzimtoti police on Wednesday, 2 September,” said provincial police spokesman, Thulani Zwane.
”He handed himself over to Toti detectives at 6.30pm. He was accompanied by his advocate,” said Toti SAPS communications officer, Capt Charlene van der Spuy.
The man (44) will appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday, 3 September) facing murder, attempted murder and possession of explosives charges.
