Registration is open, so get your tickets now.

The Color Run™ 2015 will hit the Green Hub at Blue Lagoon in Durban on Sunday, 12 July at 10am.

‘The happiest 5km on the planet’ promises to be brighter, shinier and happier with some exciting new additions to the usual format.

Participants can expect nothing like before, including in-race obstacles a sprinkle of glitter and a few other surprises.

“The Color Run is bigger and better than ever, and that’s thanks in part to Capitec Bank, which has come on board as the headline sponsor,” said the Color Run South Africa event producer, Leon Swanepoel.

Having had huge success in Port Elizabeth in May, with over 7,000 color runners experiencing the bigger, better and shinier format, it promises to be an event to remember for locals and tourists alike in Durban.

“Thanks to Capitec Bank’s generous sponsorship, we were able to raise over R53 000 for a nursery school in Port Elizabeth,” said Swanepoel.

The Durban leg of the event is raising funds for education and Capitec Bank has committed a R10 donation for every ticket purchased towards this cause.

Registration is open.

Every runner will receive a R200 voucher from Takealot.com for the purchase of The Color Run powder and merchandise, as well as a R200 voucher from Superbalist to be redeemed against a minimum spend of R250.

Charity and school fundraising is a big part of The Color Run. Register your school or charity on the Fun Raiser programme and raise R20 for every ticket sold under your unique Fun Raiser code. To give back, contact The Color Run on hello@thecolorrun.co.za.

Tickets are available from https://thecolorrun.co.za and Facebook: TheColorRunSouthAfrica. Get your early bird special now, available until Monday, 22 June for only R100.

Thereafter, individual ticket prices are R150 and R200 on the day.
