Cat killer showed no remorse

It will go a long way towards mending her broken heart.

EDITOR – To the person who ran over and killed my daughter’s beloved cat in front of our gate at about 7am on Tuesday, March 18 and cold-bloodedly drove off, I pray you never have to see a child of yours standing in the road with her dead pet in her arms, tears streaming down her face.

I hope every time you speed past our house, that you see that image of my child in your mind’s eye. An apology for an accident would have helped if it was a pure accident, however the fact that you sped off leads one to suspect otherwise.

If you desire to redeem yourself you know who you are and where you killed our cat. That’s where we live. Apologise to my child. It will go a long way towards mending her broken heart.

And yes, cats roam, it is their nature. We loved her and you brutally took her from us by your speeding. If you had driven how you should have in the cul-de-sac we live in, she would still be with us.
