Fundraiser pageant to benefit Wanderers Haven

The pageant, open to boys and girls aged 0 to 18, will be a fun-filled affair and will help raise funds for the non-profit organisation.

A Mr/Miss Baby to Queen/King fundraiser pageant for Wanderers Haven will be held on July 1 at Splash Waterworld, with registration at 11:00 and the pageant at 12:00.

The fundraiser, organised by Rialda de Vaal and Lelani Rossouw, will help generate much-needed funds for the non-profit organisation that assists families in need.

The categories are: boys’ junior and senior groups and various age groups for girls aged 0 to 18 years old. The pageant consists of one T-ramp walk, five judges and one outfit: smart, casual or pageant wear.

The ‘nobody walks away empty-handed’ pageant will include special awards, best crowns and sashes, debutante and overall wins.

There are fabulous prizes to be won, namely, weekends away, Splash vouchers, Thirsty Whale vouchers, hampers, more vouchers, crowns, gifts and medals.

The entry fee is R100, the spectator fee is R50 and there is an additional charge of R50 for a Splash pass. The pageant will also give away one free entry per paid entry for an underprivileged child.
