Help keep Amanzimtoti SPCA’s animals warm

The animal shelter is appealing to the community for blankets to keep the animals warm this winter.

WITH the colder winter months starting to settle in, the Amanzimtoti SPCA appeals to the community for donations of blankets for the animals in their care.

The SPCA’s Michelle Hannan said they are also in need of dog food and toys for the animals.

“We are in desperate need of puppy soft/tinned food. We are also always looking for dog and cat toys for the animals to be entertained in their cages. Second-hand toys, in good condition, are always welcome,” she said.

Donations of blankets, toys and food can be dropped off at 1 Nyati Road, Athlone Park.
