Man airlifted after industrial accident in Prospecton

He has been taken to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he requires.

A MAN was airlifted to a specialist facility after sustaining serious injuries during an industrial accident in Prospecton earlier today, April 18.

Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said the Netcare 911 aeromedical helicopter was activated by Emer-G-Med paramedics in the Prospecton area, south of Durban.

At the time of the incident, he said, “Reports from the scene are that a male has been left with serious injuries and will be airlifted to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he requires.”

At the time of going to press, no further information was made available.
