Join the Amazing Race through Amanzimtoti

Participants will be given clues and riddles to enable them to follow the routes to secret locations.

THE Amazing Race, which sees teams compete in mental and physical challenges at secret locations in and around Amanzimtoti, takes place at Mills Bomb Shellhole, Warner Beach on May 6 at 10:00.

The event is modelled after the CBS show, The Amazing Race. Teams of four or five, at R200 per person, compete in challenges that are all lighthearted and nothing too strenuous. There are currently 10 teams, with 15 still needed.

Co-founder of Amazing Events Nandia Blom said, “At the start of the race, the organisers will supply the necessary clues and riddles to enable contestants to follow the route, which consists of a number of stops, with various activities participants need to complete at each stop.”

She said the event’s focus is fun, creativity, and fundraising. Winners will be determined using a point system, with various vouchers and prizes to be distributed for best-dressed, best team spirit, and more.

Bring your friends, book your team, and have loads of fun. The only requirements are: your own car, mobile phones and a sense of adventure.

Teams can be booked on WhatsApp only on 083 785 1462. Direct message the Amazing Race Facebook page or email blomnandia@gmail.com. Group bookings will be confirmed with proof of payment via EFT.
