Toti United FC hosts matchday at Hutchison Park

The action-packed day of soccer ended with a mixed bag of results.

SUN, soccer and scoring goals were the name of the game as Toti United Football Club (FC) played premiere league games on their home ground at Hutchison Park on September 4.

During the action-packed day, parents, supporters and coaches could be heard cheering on their respective teams as the players took shots at the goals.

“All junior league games of the day were played in a competitive, but good spirit and sportsmanship for the benefit of all the children involved. Toti United FC had a mixed bag of results losing two games and winning three and a 1-1 draw for the U12 age group,” said club captain, Mfundo Mngadi.

Every game is a learning curve for the development of the junior children and they certainly had a lot of fun all round,” said Mngadi.

The results of the day were as follows: U11A Toti United 0-2 Rumpshakers, U11B Toti United 2-5 Virginia, U12A Toti United 1-1 Yellowwood Park and U15 Toti United 4-0 Mighty Lions.

The teams are currently gearing up for the knock-out cup games on September 18.
