Toti Lions honour the late Ted Holden

Ted Holden was the longstanding coordinator at the Amanzimtoti Country Club and Conservancy.

The Amanzimtoti Lions Club planted two trees at the Amanzimtoti golf course in memory of the late Ted Holden on Sunday, September 4. Ted was the coordinator at the Amanzimtoti Country Club and Conservancy, and he passed away at age 90 on May 11.

The Amanzimtoti Lions Club public relations officer, Lion André Beetge, said they planted a Natal Mahogany and a Coral tree.

“In keeping with local government standard, we decided to have one person dig the holes while the others kept close watch and thus qualified for the beer later. It was nice sharing a few of memories of Uncle Ted between us again,” said Beetge.
