Toti Athletics Club competes in KZN Marathon Championships

The athletics club is awaiting an announcement on the team selection for National Marathon Champs.

MEMBERS of the Amanzimtoti Athletics Club (ACC) recently competed in the KZN Athletics Marathon Champs in Durban at the Kingspark Athletics Stadium.

Kim Anderson came third and won a bronze medal in the ladies 42km event. She also participated in a four-part 10km run at Hutchinson Park on Sunday, March 6, and won the overall first place prize in the female category.

“We are awaiting the announcement from KZN Athletics on the team selection for National Marathon Champs, but are hopeful that Kim will be selected,” said ACC secretary, Jodine Momberg.
