Husband discovers wife’s lifeless body in Dan Pienaar Drive

The victim’s personal belongings, including her handbag, cellphone and keys, were found next to the body.

A WOMAN was found murdered in Dan Pienaar Drive earlier today (October 13).

According to the communications officer of Amanzimtoti SAPS, Captain Charlene van der Spuy, the victim is believed to have been attacked in her yard when she returned home after a morning jog.

“She left the house around 04:00 this morning. Her body was discovered next to the house by her husband,” said van der Spuy.

The victim’s personal belongings, including her handbag, cellphone and gate keys, were found next to the body.  A case of murder is being investigated.
