Isipingo protest action cleared
The crowd was protesting due to a lack of service delivery in the area.
The protest action in Isipingo Old Main Road, in the vicinity of Lotus Park, was cleared a short while ago. The road was completely blocked after protesters set tyres alight. PT Alarms was in attendance.
“The crowd was protesting due to a lack of service delivery in the area,” said spokesperson of the organisation, Dhevan Govindasamy.
