Creating a safe haven are members of Same Love Toti who hosted an advocacy meeting at Friends Family Restaurant. The organisation aims to create an inclusive South Africa, where gender non-conforming individuals and people with diverse sexual orientations can live safely.

“We feel it is important to support our local community, especially those who go out their way to give back to Amanzimtoti,” said founder of the organisation, Kim Lithgow.   Same Love Toti would like to thank Friends Family Restaurant for allowing us to use their conference room for our advocacy meeting. We appreciate the ongoing support from owners Barry Haupt and Sean Miles, and would recommend the restaurant as a safe and inclusive space for LGBT people and their families to socialise in Amanzimtoti.”
