A successful fundraiser in aid of the Cleansurf Project was hosted by André Krugel, founder of NextEpisode and Nelson Masson, founder of Legions Beer Pong League, on Friday, 27 September.

The CleanSurf Project is a non-profit organisation that creates awareness of the deviating impacts of littering, especially plastic and polystyrene products and the effects it has on ocean life.

The fundraiser was hosted at All Out Action bar and consisted of various local DJ’s showing off their talents, and beer pong tables to entertaining the crowds.

“Numerous prizes were up for grabs throughout the night. NextEpisode and Legions Beer Pong League would like to thank all their sponsors for their generosity. A big thank you to All Out Action bar for the use of the venue, and the following for their sponsorship in prizes, Subtech, Nelo’s Pizza, Fit Factory Gym and Buzz Gombert. Most importantly, we would like to thank the Amanzimtoti community for the support on the evening,” said André.

The community was encouraged to support the CleanSurf Project.

“After all they are assisting in leaving a better environment for our children, and please continue supporting NextEpisode and Legions Beer Pong League. These two brands are built on giving back to the community and allowing locals to showcase and grow their talents. Keep an eye out for the next event happening soon,” he added.
