Softball season starts

The KZN schools league season starts this weekend with matches on Friday afternoon, 19 July

The Ethekwini Softball Association (ESA) held their non-elective AGM on Saturday, 13 July.

The meeting was well attended and clubs are very motivated for the season ahead. The ESA softball league will start on Sunday, 18 August, with an all day rally at Queensmead grounds in Umbilo. This is an opportunity for teams to prepare themselves for the season ahead and for those looking for a club to join.

For more details on clubs to join, email Paul Whitfield for the men’s league on whitfiel@saol.com or Nicolle Williams for the women’s league on nicolle@cadplastics.co.za. The KZN schools league season starts this weekend with matches on Friday afternoon, 19 July, and Saturday for high schools at Queensmead. Primary Schools play at Hoy Park near North Beach on Saturday mornings.

For more information on entering the schools league, email Charmaine Verrall on registration@kznschoolssoftball.co.za.
