Only on Monday, 1 April we were notified about her death, saying that she had been found on Thursday, 28 March by the Isipingo police. My father then went to identify her body.”

Dawny leaves behind a beautiful five-year-old daughter, Ndalo.

“Dawny was young, vibrant, passionate about life, ago-getter, full of energy and she excelled in whatever she was doing,” said the relative. “She was always laughing, very self-driven and most of all she loved her daughter dearly.”

Dawny’s funeral will take place this Saturday, 6 April.
