How to join Amanzimtoti’s crime-fighting squad

The CCPO was formed by the Amanzimtoti community, for the community, to combat crime.

Joining Amanzimtoti’s elite crime-fighting squad, the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO), is so easy. Simply call Sam in the CCPO office on 031-903-7037 or email info@ccpo.co.za, or visit the website www.ccpo.co.za.
If you need help to join, or would like some advice, call CCPO committee member, George Snodey on 083-655-4302 and he will be only too glad to assist you.

The benefits of being a CCPO client are immense. The CCPO covers the entire area of Amanzimtoti and is a community service. It will assist you where ever you are, whether you are walking on the road, lying on the beach or enjoying a braai at a friend’s house. If you belong to them and you call in an emergency, they will arrive to assist you quicker than anyone else.

The CCPO was formed by the Amanzimtoti community, for the community, to combat crime. To belong to the CCPO there is a contribution to be made for the running of this award-winning service.

Rates:

* Unit/Flat – R92.00

* Residential – R173.00

Pensioners rates:

* Unit/Flat – R80.00

* Residential – R139.00

Body corporates are charged at R80 per unit but there special rates if there are more than 10 units wanting to join.

Business rates:

Small – R440

Medium – R800

Large – R1,661

The service offered and what you pay for is not only for incidents that have occurred – the CCPO is just a phone call away to assist with the following if needed:

* Community foot patrols;

* Vehicle patrols;

* Responding to client’s emergencies;

* Crime;

* Medical;

* Missing person;

* Assist in non-emergency situations where possible. Such as: Meeting a client at home if they arrive late and are feeling nervous; guarding at functions; guard presence after a crime incident;

* Towing service assistance.

The old CCPO office, which is a parkhome situated by Lords and Legends at the Amanzimtoti Sports Centre, is open every Friday from 10am to noon to accommodate cash-paying clients.
