EDITOR – This year is well on its way, and we ended 2018 and started 2019 with a bang.
A big thank you to all the people who came to our Christmas wrapping table at Seadoone Mall in Toti, to use our gift wrapping service.
Our women and girls who worked there were fantastic, with the girls dressing up and causing one and all to absolutely feel the spirit of Christmas.
Your wonderful support will benefit so many animals, as the table did very well. Thank you.
To all those who supported our charity shops in Amanzimtoti and Scottburgh, with donations and in buying from the shops, thank you once again. You make it possible for us to continue our work with all the animals, dogs, cats and chickens included. We always need donations as we sell anything you don’t want, as long as it is in working order and not broken. Our container arrived in Scottburgh, so we have so much more space to store things we are not able to keep in the shop, even furniture will be welcome.
We have been truly blessed by one of our supporters who have made it possible for us to host a Valentine’s dinner and dance on 16 February at Bell and Anchor in Scottburgh, for which we are truly grateful. If you feel up to a lovely evening of good food, great company and at the same time feel good about supporting us, then join us there. Tickets are R300 per couple which includes a sit-down, wonderful meal and good music to dance to. Be ready to have a great evening.
Things out there for the four-footed ones have not changed and our work will never be done, but with your support and prayers, we will continue to love, feed and sterilise for as long as we able to do so.
