Storm-ravaged Doonside car park repairs get underway [PHOTOS]

A full report on the repair will be published in the SUN to update residents on the progress.

Repairs to the damaged Dick King Place car park site have started and residents are urged to refrain from visiting the construction site. The banks of the car park eroded considerably during the October 2017 storm which lashed the area.

Ward 97 councillor, Andre Beetge said the contractor is competent and with the soil being unstable, residents are not allowed to visit the site to interrupt the work, or offer advice or suggestions. “The contractor is working to a plan and a full report on the repair will be published in the SUN to update residents on the progress,” he said.
