Amanzimtoti Rotary Club to benefit from fundraising programme

This programme should be used as a fundraising tool for churches, NGOs, clubs and private people who are interested in raising funds.

The Amanzimtoti Rotary Club was blessed with a visit from a special guest at their last meeting.

Gunter Gys of Belgium has transformed a business funding model programme into a user-friendly funding accessible tool. The idea behind this is poverty alleviation and self-sustaining, and this programme should ideally be used as a fundraising tool for churches, NGOs, clubs and private people who are interested in raising funds.

“This is a very easy-to-use idea,” said Amanzimtoti Rotary president, Neil McDonald. “Gunter, who lived in SA for a few years, left eight years ago and decided to come back and do something about the poverty that he saw and dealt with while in SA.

“He has been very busy since his arrival, as people, clubs and churches have invited him to do his presentation. This is a phenomenal way to get sustainable income, especially for NGOs.”

Gunter is leaving SA at the end of the month and he can be contacted via email at gtinet@gunterg.be.
