Support Toti oldies

The residents have been busy making all sorts of handcrafts, keepsakes and jewellery to supplement their income.

Amanzimtoti residents are urged to support senior citizens being assisted by The Elder’s Voice.

The Elder’s Voice, a local NGO, took in and improved the living conditions of previously abused and neglected senior citizens of the Upper South Coast. Six months after securing its first house in August, which was furnished by the community’s donations, the Elder’s Voice now runs six homes filled with happy, comfortable senior citizens.

The residents have not been idle but keeping themselves busy making all sorts of handcrafts, keepsakes and jewellery to supplement their income. These items are on sale from 9.30am to 1pm every Saturday at Amanda’s Coffee Shop, 16 Rockview Road, weather permitting.
