Lewis Drive man’s stolen tools returned

CCPO guards noticed a known housebreaker walking with the tools and when they stopped to question him, he dropped them and fled.

A LEWIS Drive resident had his tools returned to him before he even realised they had been stolen from his home on Saturday, 31 March.

CCPO guards noticed a known housebreaker walking with the tools and when they stopped to question him, he dropped them and fled.

CCPO’s George Snodey posted a photo on Facebook of the tools which had been dropped, and in no time, the owner recognised the belongings as his. He proceeded to the police station where he opened a case. Snodey said that by doing so, roleplayers can work towards ensuring the thief returns to prison.
