Four armed robbers were nabbed after a high speed chase with a security reaction officer on Thursday morning, 23 November.
The men, in a silver VW Polo, attempted to break into a house in May Road, Athlone Park. They were disturbed and fled.
They then went to a house in Churchill Road where they held up the domestic worker and stole two TVs. The CCPO responded and managed to note the vehicle’s registration, which was circulated on the CCPO radio network.
ET Rapid Response South Coast managing member, Tony Lokker spotted the vehicle on the N2 and gave chase. The thieves crashed their vehicle near KwaMashu and all four were caught a short while later in the bush.
