Amanzimtoti storm turns stream into raging river
Winifred Close, a quiet street in Warner Beach has been flooded by the stream that has filled up to a raging river.
Houses in Winifred Close, Warner Beach have been severely damaged by the heavy rains and strong winds experienced this morning, Tuesday, 10 October.
The stream that usually trickles down the side of the road turned into a rapid, raging river. This river is now at the level of some gardens, has flooded many homes and even submerged one garden flat.

Everyone is urged to stay off all roads today, if possible. The N2 by Kingsway Hospital has been closed in both directions.
