JUST IN: Kingsway barriers removed over railway bridge

The on-ramp is now broader and passable on the eastern, southbound side.

Motorists will breathe a sigh of relief to hear the roads department has today removed the jersey barriers at the Kingsway and Adams Road intersection.

Following a few touch-ups and small works around the Adams Road off-ramp bridge, the barriers were removed today (Thursday, 21 September), rendering the on-ramp broader and passable on the eastern, southbound side.

Repairs to the railway bridge commenced on 8 April after the eastern side of the wall collapsed after heavy rains.
