Thieves target delivery truck in Isipingo

The thieves pounced on a delivery truck and made off with about two boxes of stock.

Isipingo thieves got more than they bargained for when passersby attacked them after they looted a vehicle in the CBD on Wednesday, 13 September.

According to Alpha Alarms communications officer, Krishnee Naidoo, the thieves pounced on a delivery truck and made off with about two boxes of stock.

Passersby managed to grab the fleeing thieves and meted out mob justice.
Alpha response units, Durban Central and Metro Dog unit responded to the scene.

The thieves managed to break away and flee but one of them who was severely injured was caught again. He was attended to by ER24 paramedics and was transported to hospital.
