No low-cost housing project in Doonheights

The homeowners are removing alien invaders and clearing land to enable an environmental impact and architectural escarpment assessment.

Residents in the vicinity of Longacres Drive in Doonheights are reassured that land clearing and the removal of alien invaders in the area is not the start of a low-cost housing project.

Ward 97 councillor, Andre Beetge said the owners of erf 2954 and R1851, which borders Vaughan Goodwin Drive, and erf 2955, 2956 and 2957, which borders Henry Ogle Place and Chestnut Road are removing alien invaders and clearing land to enable an environmental impact assessment and architectural escarpment assessment.

“This is with a view towards future development,” said Cllr Beetge.
