Foot patrol operations to help curb high crime rate

Business owners and patrons said they were grateful for the visible policing.

SAPS and security personnel have joined forces to provide visible policing in the suburb.

Following a spate of armed robberies, hijackings and theft out of trucks in the Isipingo area, members of the SAPS eThekwini Outer South Cluster together with officers from local security company, Alpha Alarms took to the streets of the Isipingo CBD and Rana Road Business Sector on foot patrol operations during the week.

Business owners and patrons said they were grateful for the visible policing during the month-end chaos that marks them as soft targets for ruthless criminals.
