Watch: Naughty lion cubs bother sleepy dad
A lion’s tail seems to be the perfect toy for three mischievous young ones.
Good sleep when there are little ones around seems to be an issue in the animal kingdom too – and even the ‘king of the jungle’ is not spared!
A video taken by Cameron Schmidt (29), the system head ranger at Pumba Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, shows how curious lion cubs’ playful antics disturb their dad’s nap.
Daddy’s swishing tail catches the attention of the cubs, which keep sneaking up and pouncing on it. Towards the end of the video, the mighty lion lets out a few growls to remind the cubs that he is in charge at daddy daycare.
