The cub was unable to join the other lions in its pride in a tree, where they were enjoying a meal, and found itself vulnerable to hyenas that had gathered.
The video was taken by Benji Solms, a guide from Serondella Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger Park, who shared it with LatestSightings.com.
