Bringing warmth to hospice patients

Hospice is grateful to two local sisters and all involved in the project.

Sathia Padayachee, a local pharmacist and hospice supporter, delivered several beautifully crocheted and handmade fleece blankets to the hospice house in Umkomaas recently.

This initiative was started by her sister, Jayesh Moodley.

Jayesh began making the blankets in Johannesburg and couriered them to Durban for hospice patients.

Khanya Hospice CEO Neil McDonald said that these blankets will help provide warmth and comfort to their patients and the less fortunate.

Hospice is grateful to the sisters and all involved in the project.
