Pantry power: Creston makes a difference

Collected cans were donated to Genesis Hope Community Centre.

Creston College proudly participated in the Curro Preschools Pantry Power initiative.

The school community came together with enthusiasm, collecting over 200 cans of tin food and other non-perishable food items to support those in need.

In the lead-up to Mandela Day, they rallied the entire school to join the cause, emphasizing that together, they could all fill the pantries and hearts of the communities.

Their collective effort showcased the spirit of being Curro changemakers, nurturing hope and making a tangible difference.

Creston is excited to announce that all collected cans were donated to Genesis Hope Community Centre, which will distribute to the surrounding community.

The school is grateful to all who contributed and helped honour Mandela Day with such a meaningful initiative. Together, they truly made an impact.
