Ranger is tough, capable and connected

Option packs are available and you can 'build your own' vehicle.

The new next generation Ford Ranger is a ruggedly exciting and awe-inspiring vehicle. It has a powerful, sturdy presence and class leading when it comes to wading depth – 850cm. The double cab pickup now boasts a 2-litre engine, turbo or bi-turbo, available in the single and supercab derivatives.

The vehicle is bigger and wider than its predecessor. Even at the entry level XL, it comes with most of the necessary bells and whistles.
The Ranger has power of 132kW, up from 118kW. It’s fuel efficient for such a big vehicle, with 7.4l of diesel for 100km.
Inside, there’s a touch screen, cloth seats (leather in the XLT) and so much more, including a wireless charging port in the XLT.

One of the benefits of buying a Ranger is that you get a free one-day 4×4 course courtesy of Ford South Africa.
Top of the range Raptor can belt out 292kW with its 3-l, V6 bi-turbo engine.

This has definitely been built with the adventurer in mind, someone who wants to take it (properly) off-road.
Option packs are available and you can ‘build your own’ vehicle. Best bet is to head down to the dealership at Halfway Ford Port Shepstone and let them show you.
