Wonderful support for Stoppy at golf, bowls day

Golfers and bowlers supported their ailing friend.

The Pete Stoppel fundraiser at Port Shepstone Country Club was, as expected, well supported, with golfers and bowlers coming out in support of Pete and his family.
‘Stoppy’, as he is affectionately known, has been in hospital for some time, in critical condition.
The golf competition on the day was won by Colin Nel and his team comprising Clive Caldry, Colin Nel, Gary Leech and Neil Jordan.
The bowls competition was won by Barry and Des Krause, with Gerda Clark. Runners-up were Winnie Hess, Sharolyn Dacey and Steve O’Moore. The family thanked all those who supported the day.
