Sbu tames the wild side

In a field of 32, Sbu Ntozakhe took top honours, by counting out Pravesh Govender on 38 points.

Pro-Vision Golf and Social Club held their fourth league/monthly mug match at the Wild Coast Country Club last Sunday.

This tournament was sponsored by Isibani Auditing Firm. Deshan Chetty represented the firm on the day.

In a field of 32, Sbu Ntozakhe took top honours, by counting out Pravesh Govender on 38 points.

Completing the top five were Kishal Reddy on 35 points, Risheen Goberdan on 34 points and Thulani Xolo on 33 points.

The remaining players who made the top 10 all received a bottle of their selected spirit.

Potential member Frik de Jager almost aced the 17th par three hole.

Other novelty prizes for closest to the pins were Deshan Chetty (4th), Justin Chetty (6th), Sbu Ntozakhe (8th), Anba Pillay (11th), Wonder Nxumalo (13th) and Frik de Jager (17th).

Pro-Vision’s major annual golf day will be held at Port Shepstone Country Club on July 24, with a shotgun start at 09:00.
