Some gr 8 pupils had a wonderful opportunity to visit El Roi Baby Home in Port Shepstone.

The productivity at Sheppie High kicked into high gear last week with accolades being awarded in all areas.

The well-known school motto ‘Education for Life’ is apt as Port Shepstone High endeavours to ensure pupils leave the school better equipped with essential life skills.

Some gr 8 pupils had a wonderful opportunity to visit El Roi Baby Home in Port Shepstone.

They took donations of clothes, baby blankets, toys, formula, etcetera, to help this great cause.

It was an incredibly emotional afternoon and everyone left enriched and motivated to continue making a difference.

Another highlight from last week was the volleyball results.

The U16 boys showed a stunning display of talent at the Marburg Sports Complex and were unbeaten in the round-robin and finals, whilst the girls finished runners-up.

It is a massive achievement beating Marburg Secondary and Port Shepstone Secondary, who have dominated for years.

The junior cricket team met their strongest competition to date this season and won against Kingsway by 32 runs.
