Editor's note

Too much choice

It's often a case of feast or famine.

SOUTH Coasters often complain there is not much to do over the weekends.

And if ever there was a case to prove feast or famine on the entertainment front – it was last weekend.

There were festivals, fairs, flea markets, fishing compos, shows, bazaars, racing, walks, talks, expos, AGMs and even moon watching.

Organisers would do well to ensure their event gets support by ensuring it does not clash with a myriad of functions.

A lot of hard work goes into hosting events and it is disappointing when they don’t get the anticipated crowds.

The pie was simply cut into thinner slices as people were too spoilt for choice.
